1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Cassian. It describes the data we process when you create an account, connect your LinkedIn account, and use Cassian to analyze, draft, schedule, publish, and report on your LinkedIn content.

Information we receive from LinkedIn

When you choose to connect your LinkedIn account, you authorize LinkedIn to share certain data with us through LinkedIn’s official APIs. Depending on the permissions (scopes) you grant, this may include:

3. How we use your information

• Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
• Analyze your LinkedIn profile and posts to learn your voice and content strategy.
• Generate drafts, suggestions, schedules, and performance reports at your request.
• Publish content to LinkedIn only after you review and approve it (or according to a schedule you set).
• Communicate with you about your account, security, and support requests.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Legal bases

Where Andorran Qualified Law 29/2021 on the protection of personal data and the EU GDPR apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), your consent (for connecting LinkedIn and for optional analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), and legal obligation.

5. LinkedIn Platform data — specific commitments

Our use of information received from LinkedIn APIs complies with the LinkedIn API Terms of Use and applicable LinkedIn policies. In particular:

• We use LinkedIn data only to provide and improve features you have requested within Cassian.
• We do not sell, rent, or license LinkedIn data, and we do not use it for advertising or to build independent profiles of you or others.
• We do not use LinkedIn member data to train third-party or general-purpose AI models. Content is sent to our AI processors only to perform the specific task you asked for, under contractual confidentiality and no-training terms.
• We publish to LinkedIn only content that you have created, reviewed, or explicitly approved.
• If you disconnect LinkedIn or delete your account, we stop accessing LinkedIn data and delete cached LinkedIn data as described in Data & Deletion.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

• Service providers (subprocessors) who host our infrastructure, provide AI/model processing, and help us operate the Service, under agreements that require confidentiality and appropriate safeguards.
• LinkedIn, when you direct us to publish content or take actions on your connected account.
• Authorities, when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Successors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this policy.

7. International transfers

We are based in Andorra, which is recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection. Where data is processed outside your country, we use appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).

8. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and then delete or anonymize it, unless a longer period is required by law. See Data & Deletion for details and timelines.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected]. 10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege token handling — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and continuously improve our safeguards.

11. Children

Cassian is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old (and old enough to hold a LinkedIn account under LinkedIn’s terms) to use the Service.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you.

• Publishes LinkedIn posts only after you approve the content or configure a schedule.
• Reports performance using available public metrics or approved API-accessible metrics.

What Cassian does not do

• We do not sell, rent, license, or transfer LinkedIn member data to data brokers or advertisers.
• We do not use LinkedIn data for ad targeting or to build independent profiles of LinkedIn members.
• We do not publish to LinkedIn without user approval or a user-created schedule.
• We do not request more LinkedIn permissions than are needed for the features you use.
• We do not claim that LinkedIn sponsors, endorses, verifies, or certifies Cassian.

AI processing

Cassian uses AI processors to analyze your content and generate drafts at your direction. We do not use LinkedIn member data to train third-party or general-purpose AI models. Our AI processors are used to perform the requested task under contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms.

User control

You can revoke LinkedIn access at any time in Cassian or in LinkedIn’s permitted-services settings. After revocation, Cassian stops using LinkedIn tokens and deletes cached LinkedIn data as described in Data Processing & Deletion.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and MVP Foundry SLU (“MVP Foundry,” “we,” “us”) governing your access to and use of Cassian and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You must also hold a valid LinkedIn account and comply with the LinkedIn User Agreement when connecting it to Cassian.

2. The Service

Cassian is an AI assistant that helps you analyze, draft, schedule, publish, and report on content for your LinkedIn account through LinkedIn’s official APIs. Features may change, and some may be offered as beta.

3. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Connecting LinkedIn & your responsibilities

• You authorize Cassian to access and act on your LinkedIn account within the permissions you grant, solely to provide the Service.
• You remain responsible for all content you approve, schedule, or publish through Cassian, and for compliance with the LinkedIn User Agreement and LinkedIn’s Professional Community Policies.
• You may disconnect LinkedIn or revoke access at any time through Cassian or your LinkedIn settings.
• LinkedIn does not sponsor, endorse, verify, or certify Cassian.

5. Acceptable use

• Don’t use the Service to create or publish unlawful, misleading, spammy, infringing, hateful, or abusive content.
• Don’t attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or misuse the Service or LinkedIn’s platform.
• Don’t use the Service to violate any third party’s rights or any applicable law or platform policy.

6. AI-generated content

Cassian uses AI to generate drafts and suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing all content before it is published. You own the content you create, subject to LinkedIn’s terms and any third-party rights.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by MVP Foundry SLU and its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of your content.

8. Beta & availability

The Service may be provided as a beta, “as is” and “as available.” Features may change or be discontinued, and the Service may occasionally be unavailable.

9. Fees

Cassian is currently free while in beta. If we introduce paid plans, we will provide notice and terms before any charges apply.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and results obtained from AI output. We do not guarantee any particular reach, engagement, or business outcome.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MVP Foundry SLU will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or €100.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MVP Foundry SLU from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party platform’s terms.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if required to protect the Service or comply with law. On termination, the relevant sections of these Terms survive.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Principality of Andorra, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Andorra will have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law grants you another forum.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

What we store

• Your account details (name, email, LinkedIn member ID).
• LinkedIn OAuth access/refresh tokens, stored encrypted, used only to call LinkedIn on your behalf.
• A cache of the LinkedIn profile and posts you asked Cassian to analyze, plus drafts, schedules, and reports generated for you.
• Operational logs needed for security and reliability.

How to revoke LinkedIn access

You can disconnect LinkedIn from Cassian at any time:

• In Cassian — open Settings and choose “Disconnect LinkedIn.” We immediately stop using your LinkedIn tokens and delete cached LinkedIn data.
• In LinkedIn — go to Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Other applications → Permitted services and remove Cassian. This revokes our access tokens directly with LinkedIn.

How to delete your account and data

• In Cassian — open Settings and choose “Delete account.” This removes your account and associated personal data.
• By email — send a deletion request from your account email to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data.”

Deletion timeline

When you disconnect LinkedIn, cached LinkedIn data is deleted right away. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data from our active systems within 30 days and from routine backups within 90 days, except where we are legally required to retain certain records. We do not retain LinkedIn data after you revoke access, other than what is strictly necessary to complete deletion or meet a legal obligation.
